Decided to change it.
Watched some videos. They all said change the regulator.
So I tried

I was trying to get the mandrel tapped in on the river that holds the window to the regulator.

Musta tapped a scosh to hard.
When I felt parts of the window land on me I remember thinking OH FUDGE I took a breath and rubbed my head expecting to find blood gushing. So so so thankful it was DOT glass and didn't cut me. Did get a few scratches tho.

I have 28 stitches on my left shoulder and 8 on my left elbow from a glass storm door window.

Wife came out, BTW it's her car I was fixing, she asks what happened. I was fixing to launch tirade, instead took a breath and said it broke. She was like ok.

I finished removing the old part but decided to wait to put the new part in until I get the window. Not sure how big of a PAIN that's going to be...

Mess it's all cleaned up.
