They just drew the North shore units and now on to Daughtrey

Theres a gentleman here that looks to be caught in that massive North Shore drawing glitch that happened and they are ironing that out before continuing.

Guy before me took unit 6 from Sam’s recommendation lol

Supposedly a monster 10 was seen in this unit 2 weeks ago

Headed straight there to start scouting and rattling

Hoping to find a spot for my tripod to set up also.

was out there for gun management and saw a stud 10 and a really nice 9, of course too big to shoot but had a good time. there are some good deer in there

Curious if I’m hunting the same unit as you

We hunted ten a couple years ago on the youth hunt. Deer were shying away from established blinds. We found them closer to the lake. When you enter unit go as far down the rode as you can drive towards lake. Walk in to your left in huisache thicket and look for buck sign. We found a rub line in the huisache and my cousins son killed a ten in there and saw an eleven after he shot ten. No monsters but both mature.
We also found sign further north close to lake. Where the road goes right to unit nine take a left and go down til the road takes a right back toward lake. We saw sign going back toward the lake. This is what we saw two years ago, hope it helps.

First spot produced a little 8
Second spot produced a spike and about a 250” deer lol I was on a big sendero that leads to the high fence place and a monster stepped out over there

Seen 3 other bucks driving around where one deserved a better look

Setting up my pop up near a recommended spot and will try to have my tripod up by this evening also
