Foot Dr needed

The Dr took new x-rays..
Said yep it’s still broken :-)
The big toe’s healing, still got a gap between a couple of pieces. They don’t think surgery will provide any benefit over letting it heal.
The other 2 toes are healing.
They want me to come back in 3 weeks, still on no work restrictions That’ll be 6 weeks off .

Left the Drs at 330 and went to work to drop off the Drs note. About 10 minutes into the trip my toes started hurting. I mean not an ache like it’s been but PAIN. I got home about 6pm. Took the walking boot off and elevated my foot. Pain eased a bit. It hasn’t hurt this bad before. My wife just brought me 2 Motrin and put an ice pack back on it for me.

Workers Comp has mailed me my wage benefit, not sure if it’s for 2 or 3 weeks. Either way it’ll cover my financial obligations for the month of May.

I’m thankful it’s not Deer season.

Most importantly I’m thankful for Jesus’ sacrifice and provision.

It's been 5 weeks and 6 days.
Back at the Podiatrist.
Just had X Ray's taken.
2 and 3rd toes healing.
Big toe not so much. Still looked broke and displaced to me.
Waiting on the Dr
Skin looks lots better

Big toe isn't lined up good.
It'll heal fine, but won't be "normal".It'll also be a tad shorter than the one on my right foot
Not being "normal" is my "normal". I hate that!!!

I'll try and draw you a visual picture.
Looking top down,
It's straight.
It's shifted off to the right a tiny bit and back.

There's voids on the sides he'd like to see fill in more.
