They’re way out of the deal.

Early entry and buyouts to the Big 12 maybe?

19 of 22 starts back from last year. If this team isn't in the conversation at the end of the year, it won't be because of a lack of talent!

Not between each other. It was just typically poor wording by Thamel.

Fox doesn't want to lose the content that Texas and OU provide.

agreed...I read it as between the SEC and the two and didn't take it literally.

It’s Fox and the Big12. They’ll have to ride out the current network deal if they can’t come to terms.

The cash cows (TX/OU) are leaving so the Big12 is going to milk every last penny they can.

Not saying anything negative about A&M but I don't see them being but 4th best in the SEC at best. Am I missing something? UGA, Bama, LSU, A&M? I guess they could jump ahead of LSU and finish 3rd but don't see them close to a playoff team next season. Maybe in 2024.

Improves there odds of making the CFP in the next few seasons.

Most of us could see this coming for a while. Been a lot of talk about UT/OU leaving early but that’s much easier said than done. Big 12 has no incentive to make their exit easy.
