It’s hard to beat the Barnes Triple shock...

Nosler Trophy Grade Ammunition - 180 grain Nosler Accubonds. Buy from Midway USA. Expensive but well worth the money.

I used Hornady Custom since I bought my rifle, until I started handloading.
However, I bought a case of them back before George W. Bush became president, and I'm not sure that it is the same ammo today. I'm not saying it's not, but I don't know.

I have not shot my 300 WM yet, but will be real soon. Just picked up some 180 Federal Fusion. Reviews on the round are great, and I want a bonded bullet so if I use on white tail it doesn’t do too much damage. Plus it costs less than most other bonded rounds!

Before I started hand loading, all I shot out of my 300WM was grey box Winchester. It kills them just as dead and is plenty accurate further than I can shoot.

This is what I have been shooting. Got online last week to order more and everyone was out of stock. I have since purchased Federal 190 gr Sierra MatchKing BTHP. We will see how it performs compared to the Nosler AB.

This is what I shoot aswell, if you do your job it will do its. I don't see the need for a ballistic tip on a 300.

My Remington 5R Milspec liked the Remington 180 Grain Swift Scirocco.
                    Very accurate.
