Deer back from taxi

Finally got my 2017 buck back from the taxi. He said it would take a year and it took about 15 months. I think he did a great job and for as long as he had it, I would been disappointed with anything else. I am happy and this is the biggest deer I have shot. Killed on our 52 acre, low fence family property in Florence.

Beautiful deer and nice looking mount. Can I make one small suggestion? You may know this, but a lot of people don't. Most all taxidermist set the eyes as the benchmark on the deer, meaning the form is plumb and level when the eyes are set. So with that being said, if you make sure the eyes are level when you hang the mount it will look better on the wall. Most people try and get the brisket level, but that just throws everything off because most forms are not square across the bottom.

Again, not taking anything away from the mount or the deer, just a tip in case you were not aware. Oh, and it could just be my OCD acting up again. Crooked pictures and mounts make me twitch funny.
