                      I guess 2011 didn’t make the list. The record for 80+ was 1949, 90+ was in 1907, and 100* was 1980.

                          1980 was my Freshman year of college football. In August we had 3 weeks of 2 or 3 a days and it was 100 or above everyday. We had no lights to practice at dark. There weren't any rules about no 2 consecutive days in full pads like today.
