We laid Shorty to rest this afternoon.

It was a great service with Military Honors & all.

Gonna share something with y'all, that the Pastor shared with us at the grave side service for Shorty.

Shorty, and the Pastor knew each other well, and had quite a number of conversations.

During one of those conversations the Pastor learned of Shorty's love of archery. He asked Shorty why he loved it so much, and if it had any relevance to, or influence on the daily doings in his life.

Shorty said: "Well sir, in archery you need a solid anchor point if you want to shoot straight. In my daily doings of life, Jesus is my anchor point."
