Expiration time on vacuum sealed meat?

    I usually am out by next season but i would eat it as long as it stayed frozen the whole time

      I only make sausage every 2 years so if you think about it I have sausage in the freezer right now that is 4 years old took a link out just last night and it was fine. everything gets vacuum sealed when I debone and cube it

          Found some almost 5y old a while back(was Vac sealed)..decides to cook it along with some Fresh stuff (brisket),on pit and feed it to Dog..Well it was surprisingly great so Dog had to share...

          This is my take /but if its old and vac sealed frozen and never been thawed (due to power loss or such..) I would definitely give it a TRY...Just be sure its thoroughly cooked...not rare/m/rare....Roast ,soup,stew/chili for example

          If its got a little freezer burn cut that off before cookin,
