No T post in the corners. I just secured the corners together with wire and zip ties as well.
I attached the bottom wire to the wooden base with u shaped fence mails.
We used wired on the one we built but the next one we built we used those small hose clamps. Wow, went up a lot faster.

That's a great idea with the landscaping cloth. A lot quieter both inside and out versus using a tarp materials. Thought about using a tarp for the roof but you mentioned it was pretty much weather proof with the paint.
