Iv been wanting to do smoked pickled eggs. I found a few recipes that look good.

Many of my food posts are inspired by food I've eaten in restaurants. This is no exception. My husband and I recently had lunch at C4 ...

This recipe for Mom’s Pickled Eggs is delicious. A quick and easy recipe for the perfect Keto, low carb and low calorie snack.

This is good! Lately I have just been buying them from Atwood's. They are good and help the craving. Making them yourself is better though.

I just made a couple jars of pickled quail eggs last week. I just put a little salt, black and red pepper in a mason jar along with a pinch of mustard seed and dill seed. Then just add vinegar. I like to heat up the vinegar before I pour it in the jars. Been doing it this way for a couple years now and works great.

                        This is my recipe:

                        Ingredients
                        • 2 dozen hard boiled eggs, peeled
                        • 1 large onion, sliced
                        • 6 whole jalepenos
                        • 2 cloves garlic, cut in half
                        • 3 bay leaf
                        • 2 Tbsp. mixed picking spice
                        • 3 tsp. red pepper flakes
                        • 6 tsp. pickling salt or Kosher salt
                        • 4 cups white vinegar
                        • 2 cups water
Combine vinegar, water, and salt and spices in a sauce pan and heat until salt is completely dissolved.
Layer eggs, onions and jalapenos in jar.
Pour hot vinegar carefully over eggs. (cover eggs completely, adding cold vinegar if necessary.)
Place lid on jar and allow to come to room temperature.
Refrigerate for 4 days before using.

My mother in law does em with vinegar, sugar, and red beets. I think it’s a yankee thing. I don’t care for em
