Agreed with the McAdoo's suggestions. Never had a bad meal there. I like Gruene River Grill too. I did see a show on TV yesterday where they were covering a place called Texas Bistro in NB, looked good to me!! https://www.txbistro.com/

McAdoo's. Our best friends in town own it.

They also own La Cosecha. High end mexican food. It is great also.

Roll to San Marcos for Herbert’s taco hut. Not the one in New Braunfels. BOB would agree😄

              Check out La Cosecha

We found it several months back and really enjoy it. Brunch and dinner

I've never been to the one in NB. Is it still open?

San Marcos for Hays County BBQ as well.

The Coopers in NB is good if you like that style. I do. There isxa Blacks as well.

Somebody on another thread mentioned a place called Cody's in San Marcos, which would be close. I've never eaten there but the menu looked like they have great stuff.

Freiheit's Extreme Burger is the best!
Calahan's Pub & Pizza - the pizza rolls are awesome

Now I really gotta go. That's on the sign or something right? Something about their fajitas.

Depending on what we feel like, our options are usually between McAdoo’s, la Cosecha, Freheit, Clear Springs, or Gruene River Grill

Other places Worth noting….Rodriguez’s, Dos Rios, Gruene Door, Cody’s, Mozie’s

I think anyone who went to SWT would agree with you.

It was pilgrimage and a rite of passage for incoming fish… still is for us puristo’s
