Lots of nice places, but the romantic part is gonna have to be up to you. I’d recommend Hotel Emma in San Antonio. Anniversary dinner at Bohannon’s. Evening strolls along the Riverwalk. Nice lunch at Mi Tierra while being serenaded by a Mariachi. Couples massage at the Spa. Happy anniversary and good luck.

Cibalo Creek Resort outside of Marfa if you are looking to west Tx.
Pretty spectacular.

I would have to agree with this one, Cibolo Creek is very unique and extremely isolated. If you haven't been to this part of Texas, you need to go.

Take a look at Elm Creek Manor outside of Muenster. Wife and I stayed in their Alsace Cottage last year. Food and service was incredible. They can coordinate an in room massage for you and there are several nice wineries nearby to visit.

“Romance” is very subjective. I find that when me and the wife have a Tex Mex lunch that romance can be delayed considerably lol. In my younger day nothing would stop some romance haha. Dont book that massage right after Ive had my enchiladas either.

Ant street inn brehnam. Great place. Can walk the town, great eating and wine trail.
Ave O bnb in Galveston. Strand walking, beach strolling, lots of greeting choices. The food they serve is top notch and excellent. You both will love the breakfast and extreme hospitality.
