Caught a 30# boar piglet in the trap.

1 down and 10000000000 to go!

Hard stalk on this guy. Drove through the pasture on the golf cart right up to the cage. He was sleeping when I pulled up. Loaded the pistol and he got up and went crazy in the cage. 1 shot to the head and put him back to sleep. Rough hunt!

Has a bullet wound in his front shoulder. I assume it's from my AR last week when I unloaded 12 rounds on them.

Got skunked again. I walked in toward where I heard pigs yesterday but nothing today.

Headed out again this evening. Taking the 12 gauge to a new field I haven't hunted yet. My uncle told me the pigs have really started to hit the corn at this field so hopefully I can knock one or a couple down.

Yeah, my cousin is in on his days off from the oilfield. My bow and sniper hog light can't compete with his thermal and long range rifles.[emoji23] He doesn't hunt my place, but they have a couple hundred acres behind me and we usually see a lot of the same critters.
