I would think if it was a dinosaur claw it would be petrified and it would look and feel like rock if it were a sabretooth cat tooth it would look and feel like a tooth (they are not fossilized).

Quick point on the difference between a horn and an antler.....Antlers are solid and are shed once a year. A horn stays for life and the outside is kind of a sheath that is on top of a bony part. The horn itself can be slid off after death and is hollow. I you have a tigers tooth myself.
