Well no bugles this morning. Thought I heard a cow one time. Lots of fresh sign just couldn’t get on em this morning. Supper dry up here on the mountain. Gonna go check some water holes after breakfast

No good stories to tell this evening. Hiked in to check a few water holes we hunted last year. No fresh sign and people every where. Ready for the weekend worriers to get off the mountain. Rain storm just blew in, should be good sleeping tonight. Headed to the east side in the morning. Hopefully some cooler temps will have the elk talking.
