I can remember the days when you had to cover up your tattoos even if you worked retail. Now a days as long as you know your name and can form a sentence occasionally it doesnt matter if you have tatoos or purple hair. Hell my cashier at HEB is litterly a vampire. No joke.

We had to hide our hair to install cable back in the late 80s. We'd shave the sides and back and tuck the ponie tail up in a cap.

I learned of the cargo shorts exit when my wife put all of mine in the "yard work and deer camp" stack, and came home with 5 or 6 pairs of Under Armour and similar golf type shorts.

I wear them to work, so I take her word for it.
