I inherited a clean Ruger M77 heavy barrel .308 . I entered the serial on rugers website and nothing comes up. Does Ruger not keep up with models form the 80's ?

I'm not posting the number on a public forum. The serial range falls between 1981-1984

Post it all but the last 2 digits. Just put XX for those. There’s a few folks who can pin point it that way here for you I’m sure.
