Back in February I was diagnosed with Metatstatic Renal Cell Carcinoma, a stage 4 cancer. https://discussions.texasbowhunter.c...d.php?t=801605
Numerous people offered up prayers for me. They are working and I am asking for prayers for continued improvement.
I have been undergoing immunotherapy, 2 mg of Inlyta orally twice a day and 25 mg/mL of Keytruda intravenously every 3 weeks.
I've escaped most of the side effects but it does leave me extremely fatiqued. Hopefully I'll feel up to the the Main Black Bear hunt I have scheduled for the first week of September
On 6/30 I had a cat chest scan. Results:
1. Interval decrease in size of a right upper lobe nodule, now measuring 5 mm. No new or enlarging pulmonary nodules.
2. Stable mediastinal and right hilar lymphadenopathy, which was hypermetabolic on prior PET/CT, most consistent with metastatic disease. No new lymphadenopathy.
I also had an MRI of the Pelvis and Abdomen. Results:
1. No evidence of local recurrence or metastatic disease in the abdomen or pelvis.
2. Right hilar adenopathy again seen.
Still not out of the woods, but there is a definite improvement
