    Best pop n cork?

Heading to South Padre in September. Hoping to catch some Reds of course. Any advice on the best popping corks? Any advice on the best spots or best fishing techniques? All advice is certainly appreciated. Carry-on.

          Coastal Corks

Zach Hall (zhall), a member here on TBH, makes and sells them. https://coastal-corks.com/

He'll ship them to you and you'll get 'em quick.

They all work but during that time I would head north to east cut and fish bottom for some reds and use the cork for trout

May not be the best & not sure you can still buy them, but I have caught a lot of fish with the Mansfield Mauler…. It’s the OG

My buddies and I have always referred to these as slush corks, but they are by far the best in my opinion. Thousands of fish on these with soft baits below them.

I only use these for rattletraps for reds over shell. Just set the depth so the trap runs a couple inches above the shell, cast and reel, simple and super effective.
