Wow sad news. When I was a freshman in college I played their "Tres Hombres" album until I flat wore it out. They were scheduled to play Dickie's arena here in Ft Worth next month.

ZZ Top is on a huge 50+ date Tour through Spring 2022. Tonight they were scheduled to play in SC, and 4 upcoming concerts in AL, MS, AR, LA (Ellick) over the next week. This statement was just released about Dusty's current medical condition and hip problem.

Oh dammit man! I grew up listening to them and even had a friend in the music business take me to Billy Gibbons condo in 1979. He was living off of Woodway and Sage at the time. Right off midtown loop. We just never think it will end. I think outta respect they will end ZZ Top.

Not a ZZ Top guy really, but those dudes are legends...that's a huge loss to music as a whole.
