The trick (for me anyway) is to be in a dark blind, all the windows covered except the the very narrow (8" or so) shooting windows. I have two windows that are 10" tall and 8" wide. I sit far back in the darkness of the blind.

Now, I will admit that this limits my shots because the targets need to be in a fairly limited area, and everything needs to align (like qtring away, minimal deer in front and behind, near side leg forward, etc...)
