We are seeing a lot of deer but mostly does and young bucks. I started getting mature buck pics the week of muzzleloader but they have ceased. Been freezing our tails off hunting this cold front and waiting for an ol’ freak nasty to show up. According to that Blood Moon App, the next three afternoons should be money. Sitting in front of wood stove drinking Black Rifle coffee hoping to hear the leaves crunching my way in a few hours. Good luck!

Not much happened for me the last few days. Had very minimal movement and cameras went cold. Did have this guy show up for a couple days then not again after I got there. [emoji2357][emoji2357]

I’m following guys. Mountains for me. I’m 30 min away and experiencing same kind results. Waiting for these girls to start popping. No chasing yet. Lots night activity and big buck checking on doe but not running them. Day #2 of 10. You guys good luck and keep updated. Movement is minimal.

Came up to find out part of our lease was cleared. On the bright side have some recent pics of good buck. Hopefully can ground check one this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

That sucks! It’s a blessing in disguise though. I shot a nice ten point in black powder season. Having issues with photos though. Was my #2 target buck. Ended up a little smaller than expected once I ground checked it but I’m happy. Planning on hunting hard during rifle season. Heading up Friday at some point

I saw a fork horn Saturday evening. Watched him feed on the corn for ten minutes and then ease back into the woods. He was at 8 yards but wasn't what I was looking for.

I anticipate the activity this upcoming weekend and next week will be better than last week.
The moon had them up early AM, before shooting light. Didn’t need a light walking to my stand.
I hunted two days during the middle of the day. Had a few pass by around 2pm. There were a few deer spotted moving around at noon as well. Evening hunts were terrible for me.
