My father in law got a new hip about a month ago, and went through that exact scenario. A little oxygen and moving around some got him back squared away. I was up at his place last weekend and he's really got the hang of pointing and giving orders with his new cane.

Thank y’all. Gonna keep him tonight to give him some antibiotics to A. Further prevent infection of surgical area and B. Ward off any pneumonia that could be caused by the Altelectasis. Making him do breathing exercises every hour. He should be home soon. I’m less than impressed with the hospital, but the fact that his surgeon is a buddy of mine and on top of things helps. Thank y’all for the prayers.
