Deer is tagged and in the cooler.
18 1/4” wide, 7 1/6” bases
Stud 6 point.

Wind is out of the South West so I’m in a ladder stand over looking a small field.
Huge field CRP to my East
Drainage ditch/ timber line to my West. Cedar Thicket to my North West.
Deer travel this timber line in & out of the cedar Thicket.

I’m giving up a small corner of the CRP field but most of the deer travel to the South of the stand. We’ll see I guess.

Let’s see how this evening goes.

Last year, it came down to my last hunt on my last day. Was hoping this year wouldn’t be a repeat, but if I kill something, I won’t complain. Lol

Just had a spike run a doe right under me. Then he busted 3 more out of the cedar Thicket. Little guy is all worked up.
