Looking for 1-2 spots on trophy lease within 3 hrs of western dfw. MLD preferred Oklahoma not out of the question. $4-5k/spot budget, possibly more for right place.

Check texas hunting forum and reach out to PitchforkPredator. He hunts the pitchfork ranch. Their leases are handled thru mesquite country outfitters. Well worth it, but it’s prolly gonna be a tad more than $5k

I hear ya, if I was closer to S. Tx I'd fork out the money for a spot down there. With my business though I cant get that far away too often so for me wouldn't work out to well. I'd pay for something killer up in Ntx if its worth it. Just don't want to pay 5-6k/spot +2-3k in feed/yr for a maybe 140 every other year. Lots of places with too many guns or surrounded by places with too many guns.

You might call The Sawblade Ranch in Wise County.

I think the Stasney cook had an opening this year. I think it’s 10K a spot, but it doesn’t get much more management minded than that place. It’s in Shackelford county.
