It's 2.2 miles from the Comanche Bluff trailhead, but with as many boats that will be running, it's much easier to park at Primitive Boat Launch and taxi in. Rat, among the rest of the guys with boats are some of the nicest, most generous people you'll ever have the pleasure to meet. I'd say 2-3 people hike in every year out of 50ish, if that gives you an idea. Some people do kayak in from the Primitive Boat Launch as well if you have a kayak, but the bak at the Primitive Camp can be tricky getting on dry land without help.

                              To be faaaaiirrrr...
Paycheck comes from Colorado every year, so:
                              1) unless you live farther you have no excuse...
                              2) if you do live farther you will be the new winner of the long distance award every year...
