Leave in ice chest and drain water like whitetail. We make burgers 70/30 with jalapeño bacon from HEB, and chicken fry. Eats just like whitetail. Everybody now that tells me you can’t eat them I ask them how many they have eaten. Response is “none” that’s just what they hear.

They are expanding pretty quickly in our area, I think the biggest populations are close to Possum Kingdom where they get very little if any hunting pressure.

We’ve had a few pictures of them west of Graham, and I know several others in the area who have pictures of them. We need to kill every one of them, imo. Not good for the native wildlife.

I broke it down into steak like pieces, trimmed it and cooked in butter garlic and onion on high till it was medium rare. It would have been better with some mesquite smoke but I wasn't feeling that motivated

What part are you in? I hunt in Santo and we have plenty of them there. We only eat the young Ewes. They're pretty good eating.

The big rams we give to landowner and he cubes it up, boils it, mixes it with rice and feeds his dogs for a week.
