I also shot a doe with the boys in the blind as well. She was very jumpy after having been spooked off several times by the boys candy wrappers, sniffling, etc.
I did not make a good shot, and she spun into the arrow, which hit her in the neck. Think the arrow hit the jugular and she dropped after a step or two. I quickly ran out and put another arrow through the lungs.

Finally got ‘er done on a big fat doe this afternoon!!!!!! This has been a trying season for me so far, and it felt so good to do it all right and have a positive result!!!!
