    Surveying Cost ranges

Shiner Barndo build is progressing. Looking at carving out +/- 1 acre off the 130 acre family farm to use for build. Sits on exterior edge of property. Wondering what range of cost would be for a survey to expect?

    Thanks in advance...

There are a lot of variables but I have in the past had one acre surveys done for less than $500

Pricing varies with supply and demand, right now is a good time.

I have found that sometimes the local surveyors think they have the market locked up and may not be very competitive on price.
With drilling in a slump you should be able to get the best price.
I would get several bids and don't overlook a surveyor a couple of counties over.

Looking at around $500 unless there is a platting fee involved with the County. Then you can figure in about $1200

I would say in the $2k range but as said there are a lot of variables, but don't expect under $1500, lot jobs aren't even going for that in this area.

Had two 10 acre plots out of 55 acres surveyed out. Cost was $3400.00
