Oh I’m good with it guys. I’ve been there myself at good ole MCRD …albeit 30+ years ago and I could not be more proud of him

All the crying and boo-hooing is killin me. Cannot stand to see my girls sad

It's OK for us Dads to cry as well. We just do it differently. Congrats on raising a great young man. May he have an amazing life and tackles the goals he sets forth.

As has already been said multiple times, THANK HIM in advance for his service! And praying to our Lord to guide him, strengthen him, and watch over him in all that he does. God Bless, Rusty

Exactly!! He’ll be fine and you’ll be amazed at the man he’ll soon become. I took that path in ‘89 and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Be strong and know he’s in good hands!

Women and girls can be quite the emotional creatures. I usually take leave until the flood subsides. They will dry up eventually. Life has its pivotal points. Mine was when the last child left home to begin life as an adult. At first, I really felt an emptiness. My wife and I drew closer together and discussed where to go from here. It was the beginning of one of the best chapters of our life together.
