Aspen Creek out on the loop is pretty good.

Have to give Clear Springs a thumbs up too.

Here are the meals we will need. Keep up the ideas (except for Smart). We're staying at a B&B so breakfast is taken care of.
We check in at 3:00 Monday and will come back home Wednesday.

                Monday - Dinner

Or maybe thinking of Mariscos Don Juan's? One location on the square downtown and one on East Erwin....not far from each other. More authentic and excellent. Mercado's is excellent also...more TexMex.

Diner- The grove, very popular spot with a cool outside atmosphere. I recommend for a nice night out.

Dinner- Ricks on the square, best shaved ribeye sandwich I have ever had.

Lunch- Loggins, Johnny Manziels grandparents own. But, one of the best buffets around imo if you like home cooking. Arguably some of the best CFS I have had.

Or check out FD's grillhouse, one of our favorites for lunch or diner.

                    Just some popular spots.

                    Also:

                    Dakotas Steak House
                    1836 Texas Kitchen

I respectfully disagree. Forget the liberal BBQ you have to stand in line to get tgen sit outside to eat. Go 20 minutes east and eat at Country Tavern. Best BBQ in Texas.

Kiepersol is good for 'Tyler Fancy'.
