nothing on earth will keep wasp from coming back ...

except,.... hungry birds, an abundance of lizards and frogs, and no where to make a nest...

Hard to tell, maybe centipede grass? I'm surprised you have 3 acres of what looks like turf grass. 2 4 d wont kill it as long as you apply conservative and in moderate weather, it will yellow it if it's too hot, but should come back

2-4d at the max rate will not kill st. Augustine grass. At all. Nor centipede or zoysia or fescue or bermuda. It kills broadleaf weeds.

Here's my suggestion, you have a wide blade grass like st Augustine or centipede. Go to a local feed store and talk to them. With 3 acres of it you'll need more than is economically feasible from home depot, and 2 4 d in large quantities are restricted. But there's some stuff that's not restricted which the feed store will be able to recommend. Even though i have the license, i use something called remedy a lot which is not restricted, which is best for woody plants and weeds, but does kill a lot of weeds if applied at the right time. Anyway, a feed store i. Your area will liekly give you the best advice for what works, and even better than that would be a call to your county A&M extension office. Tons of spot on advice from them specific to your area.

Go get you a pallet of Scott’s Bonus S weed and feed and turn the sprinklers on. You’ll then need a 100 gallon gas tank to feed the lawn mower.

I'll just note I've never had those grasses to test, but speak based on word from my local extension office agent

I just received this today, I am planning on using it on my St. Augustine but needs to wait at least 4 days since I just mowed the yard today.
