It's the Microsoft server operating system, released in 1994 under Windows version 3.5

Windows NT or System NT is (System New Technology).

This was their first true 32 bit network operating system release as a major version release from their Windows 3.11 (Windows for Work Groups) release.

It was the first true Government "RED BOOK" release that met the National Security Agencies security requirements for Federal Information Systems.

And to further....the US Coast Guard was the first large Federal Government agency to buy Windows NT from Microsoft (SYSTEMNT). That being said, the USCG was the first biggest Government contract for Microsoft.
