Air strike fighter jets will fly pilotless, eliminating the risk of G Forces, and the performance of these fighting machines will defy all before them.

Network firewalls will analyze data trends from layer 1 through 7. Network Security will become the biggest IT advancement in the next 5 - 10 years. World-wide TCP/IP registrations will be uploaded hourly, and hacks, DOS\DDOS attacks, Phising\Spoofing and Brute Force attacks against Government and Business networks will start to automatically send hit reports to all datacenters and Internet Providers of the World, as the curtain comes down on illegal Internet crime. Those found in support of these activities will be blacklisted and fined heavily as the world learns to embrace ECommerce.

Microchip technology will find it's way into the battlefield giving small arms the ability to have tracking capability. These same weapons can be used to counter Terrorist activity and I suspect weapons will be designed to exclusively track the bad guy with weapons caches placed, so they consume and die.

Game fields and stadiums will have tracking grids, implanted within the playing field, where speed of pass, speed of athlete, ball flight in relationship to foul lines and instant stats of all facets of each game, will be benchmarked. Referees will become less of a factor in high stakes games. This data will be backfilled into video games, and performance based on players playing averages will become the next form of true to life professional\leisure sports gaming.

Battery technologies will continue to evolve and miniaturize to points, a purse, a belt and or a wallet can and will provide additional power to mobile devices.

Camera technologies will continue to miniaturize to points, an offshore boats transom and points around the stern cockpit will be sold, where below water action shots of sportfishing scenes can be captured. Inshore boats, in clear waters, will also have an underwater view capability and this technology will tie into onboard electronics.

Surfboards will start to be designed with micro camera technologies to points, the surfer will become a riding show. This technology will be added to all pastime gear, and the sky is the limit on what can be viewed and or filmed as folks continue to pour billions into this industry. As it's been coined here.."IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIDEO." Or as some say, no images, it didn't happen. Skiers on water and our snow can film from their gear in a selfie style display. All forms of equipment will have the option of leveraging this embedded technology.

Sensor tracking for motorcycles will become mandatory safety equipment in automobiles and trucking. Any road worthy vehicle will alert other vehicles of impending collision and seek to avoid and or control a mishap. The days of blind spots will be reduced tremendously for all on our highways.

The kinetic energy generated by heavy trucks and locomotives, and quite possibly aircraft, will provided electrical power to battery banks. Spinning wheels, air flow and friction points will be farmed to further electrical energies. Quite possibly, as you tank up for fuel, you will upload this captured electrical storage, offsetting the fuel cost by value added by your contribution to the power grid.

Commercial and or Industrial systems, that require external support teams for advanced repair, most notably high ticket systems, will evolve to points, the manufacturers and external support teams will have preventive maintenance monitoring. These systems will leverage existing Internet circuits to upload system performance data that analyzes PM work (hours, wear & maintenance) to points, abnormalities off a standard trend, with a unit still in operation, will have parts and planning to replace and or repair before the system goes down. This system performance monitoring will be performed by qualified service centers, trained and versed, in the maintenance and repair of these systems. Some of these systems will simply have monitors that display a simple GREEN (OK), AMBER (NEEDS ATTENTION) & RED (DOWN). Others will have advanced metrics, that benchmark all facets of its internal performance.

Commercial Kitchen systems will incorporate this technology. The days of having additional kitchen equipment on standby, to cover outages, will be reduced. This example will play into any industry that has a low margin where risk of downtime, can destroy it's profit margin. And the local knowledge to fix, repair and or perform onsite Preventative Maintenance, will become a standard design. This will reduce the footprint of engineering techs onsite, and leaning on 3rd party technical providers, to keep these systems running. Call centers will analyze this data, under support contracts, furthering uptime and reducing payroll required to support these systems on-premise. Abnormal system behaviour will be reviewed before outage, and the service support team will arrive with parts in hand, to render repair. Some of the higher dollar systems will have multiple logic points, where a hot fix can be performed, without the loss of down time.
