Dang...Them DeWalts Have Got Some Torque!

Drilling some 5/8th holes in some pipe and this old hoss finally had enough. She’s served me well for about 15 or 20 years but it’s time to get a new one.

Anyone know of a good place to get 18V batteries for one?

Almost the same happened to mine except I was lucky enough to get off the trigger in time. Mine just cracked right behind the chuck. Taped it up and retired it to house duty. My son had already bought me a Milwaukee drill and impact.

You just got a free upgrade to the flex-head model.

Nothing a little gorilla glue won't fix. Just ask the woman that used it for hairspray. It holds real good!

Milwaukee’s got some good stuff but I’ve got a bunch of Dewalt batteries and that one held up pretty good over the years.
