Sorry to hear this Kevin. The son that is their really chaps my last nerve.....i just dont understand people like that. My dad is 89 and agent orange complications are really dragging him down over the last 3 years or so..........plus he is now totally blind! Prayers up for Grannie!!!

My step mom took Grannie to the doctor this morning. She surprised us all, making it to her 90th birthday, on June 4th. She's sleeping most of the day (and night) and doesn't hardly eat at all. She's down to 81 pounds. They're admitting her into the hospital, to give her fluids and to try to get her to eat, to build her strength. We know, as soon as she goes home that she won't eat again. The doctor suggested that she go into a nursing home, which she's already said she will not do. She's so frail, and malnourished that the doctor is not giving her much more time, if she goes back home, and has suggested Hospice.

The next few weeks are going to be hard, if she holds on that long.
