Fence Boards/Pickets (Used) ?

I’ve used them many times. Depending on condition I typically pressure wash or sand them to the desired look. Lightly hit them with a torch and comes out really good.

I build lots of pedestals out of old CEDAR fence pickets, and never had any problems with bugs, as they naturally repel them.

As mmoses said, I wouldn't mess with the treated pickets, they've got some nasty stuff in them.

As a side note:. If anybody in the DFW area wants old fence wood for projects, let me know. I typically throw a trailer load a week away.

I wish you were closer to Houston. I can always use more.

For those looking for fence pickets, alot of fence companies put the fences they replace out in their yard for folks to get for free.
