Another POS Tikka Rifle.

These Tikka rifles are not what they are made out to be. My dad wanted me to shoot his new CTR in and I am extremely disappointed. My son shot the first round and I proceeded to shoot 4–3round groups with the factory ammo he gave me.

I’m thinking he needs to call Tikka and get his money back.

American Gunner 140gr 0.246”
Hornady Black 140gr .506”
Hornady 140 ELDM .396
Federal fusion 140gr 0.316.



Tikkas are are crap.

What brand of potato did you take the picture with?

Try going up to a 165 or 168 grain bullets. From my experience 308's like a little heavier bullet. Mt CTR will shoot a 5 shot one-hole group that can be covered up with a dime using Federal 168 gr Matchkings and 165 gr Gamekings.

Price? Since it doesn't qualify to your standards. I'm sure someone will take a gamble with handloads to tighten up the groups.

I jest fellas. This is the 11th Tikka I have shot. If the end goal is tiny groups it makes you wonder why people spend big bucks on custom rifles.

All the deer I’ve ever seen could dodge those groups pretty easily. You need a bigger “pattern” so they can’t get away !
