Figured we'd break up the monotony of offseason posts with a couple of live pig hunts tonight with the "cold" front coming through the DFW area. The N-NE winds for our spots are prime and the more bearable temps in the blind is welcome. 
Plus, I'm taking a break from more evening remodeling. Told the wife I need to get into the woods and take advantage of the wind direction so the lists can wait..
. I'll be at my place north of the DFW area in Cook county and Fishndude at his place south of DFW in the river bottoms trying to put an arra in a pig. A dual live hunt if you will.... We've both have some pretty consistent numbers coming through so hopefully we can let an arrow or two fly.
No boxes today like my winter hunts...I'll be hunting out of a short quad pod. Feeders go off between 7 and 7:30 for us both. And before anybody named Gumbo Man asks me,
Big Nappy has been awol for about a month. Not sure if he got shot somewhere else, is off chasing piggy poontang or just succumbed to the arrow embedded in his shoulder, he hasn't been seen in awhile. Very normal to go awol for a bit but a month is probably the longest he's been away. The first sizeable pig that gives me a good shot gets it..
Anyway....pull up a chair and follow along. I'll be in my short quadpod blind by 6pm....FND probably the same at his place. Here are some pics of my scene...
