    6666 ranch....sold

I thought this was very interesting and gives me hope for the other large ranches in Texas like this, that should be left alone.

It seems that Taylor Sheridan, one of the creators of Yellowstone and his investment group got together and bought the ENTIRE 266,000 acres. I think the best part is the quote that was at the end of the press release from Mr. Sheridan and that is "The best cowboys will work it, the best horses will be raised on it, and the best cattle will graze it.”

Supposedly all the ranch hands will stay and the ranch will continue operating the way it always has.

Very large tract of land. If kept in tact and utilized as advertised, Kudos for them.

If they do so, that will be great, yes, I thought it was larger than 142,000 acres, but don't know what the actual size is.

Your right, I just mentioned one division....might as well add in the other 120,000 acres

Sheridan seems like a real cowboy, he and his wife have 2 other ranches in Texas....one horse ranch and other is mostly cattle ranch. He's married to some super model from Wyoming but says he talked her in to moving back to his home in Texas.

They have filmed on the 4 Six ranch for episode 4 he said, should be good.

Nice to see someone buy something like that and let it continue as it has and not chop it up and sell it for a profit

Truly hope the ranch stay's the way it has been and it keeps the true cowboy history
