In the long run, absolutely. There are tons of information about the company and science on yahoo message board. I’m not a fan of message boards, but if you filter through the bs there is a lot to learn there.

I wouldn’t make it the majority of my portfolio, but looking at it, it seems like it’s a good bet.

Yes, I do. In fact, I think the company is still just getting started. I believe their first two agents will be approved within 1-to-2 years. Those events, alone, would push the stock price up hundreds-of-dollars. The major risk, at this point, is a macroeconomic meltdown. Write me if you have specific questions.

ARWR: First posted here at $29. Now at $73. Just saying'.
And several TBH members have PM'ed me, telling me that they bought. That pleases me greatly.

Boglehead 3-4 fund portfolio is a great starting point. Individual stock purchase should be thought of gambling. Use money you're willing to lose and if you pick well great. They're too unpredictable.

SGLB up 18% today. I don't have much money, but seeing a penny stock go up that you have researched the **** out of is a wonderful feeling.

With only 1800 shares I'm not going to get rich but I am fairly certain it's going to continue up.

Same idea as me. My “guy” has done a great job for us and I plan to start drawing that paycheck next year.

My secret ? Edward D. Jones. My broker does this for a living. He doesn’t advise me on dirtwork and I don’t advise him on investments.

I believe the average guy investing in individual stocks is asking for trouble. Mutual funds are the way to go for the vast majority of folks imo.
