Kade is in a hot spot!!!!

Text me and said he had a giant 20+" 12 point run a doe 40 yards by him. Couldnt get them to stop.
He grabbed his horns and rattled for a Hell Mary and rattled in another shooter buck.

Kade fired away at 10 yards. Thinks the shot was a bit high but saw blood spraying. He is 14' off the ground so the angle should be perfect.
Gonna give him a while before we look just for safety sake.
He is fired up from all the action he has seen in the last 2 hrs.
Hopefully we recover his first Kansas Buck.

We found blood right where he shot him.
Found arrow 30 yards from the shot. Didn't get a pass thru. Good blood for 150 yards into a thicket. He is headed towards a pond. We ran out of daylight so we are backing out until tomorrow.
I feel like the deer is dead but we didnt want to trample around in a hot spot after dark. I'll be in that tree in the morning till 9:00 and then we will look again for his deer.
Kade is trying to stay positive. He said today was the best day he has ever had on a stand. I'm excited for him and his first trip to Kansas.
I'll update in the morning.
