    Cabelas scope?

Does anyone own one? Are they trash or decent scopes?

I have a new savage .22WMR that needs a new rimfire scope. This rifle is purely for target practice for me and my son so its nothing fancy.

    Looking at this one, https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabe...re-rifle-scope

The other scope I'm considering is a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 Rimfire but at a much bigger price.

I've got an older basspros scope on an AR. Pretty descent scope. I'm sorry I can't remember what it's called.

I have heard the cabela's scopes have vortex glass in them. If you aren't a glass snob, scope should be plenty good for a plink around 22 wmr

Can't remember which one I have but its a Cabela's Covenant with the hold over reticle - its on a Savage 17 hornet. Field tested and approved. No issues. Pretty sure its the same scope I also have on an equally ugly Savage 22 hornet.

I have a 1-8 on my AR. 7.62x39. It’s clear and tracked like it should during sight in. Bounces around the truck and has been handled a lot hunting hogs, deer and varmints. Still holding zero. I was told they are made by Vortex. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one of any style.
Had the same warranty as vortex.

I just bought a Burris at Scheels for a rimfire 22 mag. It is an awesome little scope for the money.

That looks like a good scope. Have you shot it yet? Thoughts?

If you are putting it on a 22 LR it is in 50 yard increments. I put it on a 22 mag and have it zeroed at 100 yards. I haven't really tested it at different distances since I sighted it.
