      Great buck! Congrats. When i ran my archery shop in Lubbock, I had a few people tell me of hitting only liver and dropping them in their tracks!

        Awesome story. I’ve been in some martial arts competitions and the fastest way to go down but not be knocked out is a hit to the liver. Wouldn’t surprise me if that direct hit knocked him down and then the blood loss did it’s job.

              I never did drink that coffee. I had it in a thermos and it was still hot on Monday morning so I drank it on the way to the office.

              I just dropped him off at the taxidermist for a euro mount. He opened the bag and said, "oh wow! That is a nice deer for this area." He just texted me. 116.5". It's hard for an 8 to make 125. He does lack the mass of higher scoring deer, but I don't care. He's a nice one.
