Preventing it is easy and going on all over Texas. But making it happen requires effort, understanding, patience, humbleness, honesty, and above all - good communication.

It won't happen if you don't try.
      AMEN!

Just from those pics, I tend to lean towards older cause of brisket hanging and some knobby knees, kinda has the high shoulders low neck type of an older deer pose.

Kinda like this deer IMO, 7.5yr old.

He's somewhere between "Oh my God!!" and "I can't breathe!"

I'd pass him and see if that right side goes back to normal next year, he's an awesome buck, I'd love to see 1 more year on him.

He needs a few years. Let him reach 7 or 8.

                    Bucks peak at 6-7 yrs.
Don't look at antlers when estimating age.
That buck looks no more than 3 yrs (body), I'd say 2.
Regardless of what the neighbors do, If you kill him, 0% chance he makes another year.
200 inch deer are not as rare as they seem. Rather, what's rare is a deer of that quality making 6 yrs because people can't lay off.
Defensive hunting has prevented the development of many giant deer.

Good luck with whatever you decide! Hope you'll keep us up to date.
                    2??

Can’t help you on score but that looks like a young deer with lots of potential to blow up to me.

From those pics I see a 3 year old deer. 4 might be stretching it.

Yes, our land owner wanted him killed. Im actually confident he is 4.5 after seeing him in person and killing him. Havent scored yet, but he wont be in the 150s.

Just curious why he wanted him killed? I guessed he was 4.5 as well and can't help but wonder what he would have done at 6.5, the kickers in that left side are awesome
