Rut kicking hard right now in the Davy imo. Started the 16th and its at peak or about to according to sits watching and cams on close private property. The men have finally showed up and have several up and comings with broken main beams. Nearly all day time pics. 8 - 10 am and 3 - 5 pm. GarGuy, hope you get him bud!

Man he was the first buck I had seen in over a week. It had been really slow. I have not seen any signs of chasing since Halloween but he was definitely rutty.

My father-in-law shot this one this morning on our lease in San Augustine county. I posted a thread but figured I would post it up here also since it was a very nice East Texas buck. 16 1/2" wide typical 8pt with a broken left g2
