Still trying to talk Mr. Charlie into sending me pics. He’s a little upset with himself. Ground shrinkage got him and he’s a dang nice 4 year old 8. Probably 115-118” deer.

Mr. Ricky killed a small 5 year old 8 with a split brow for sausage and I don’t think he even took a pic. Burr also brained a do this morning. Good day on the ranch!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Mr. Paul and Mr. Charlie were on doe patrol and we had mew hunters getting into camp. I skinned 7 deer today and a TBH’rs son killed a stud of an 8pt but there’s no way I’m taking any of his Thunder. Great day at camp and a great group of guys. Maker’s was good but the fried crappie and smoked tender loins was even better. 4:45am comes early. I’ll check in with y’all mañana

We’re all tucked in. It was hot yesterday and cold today. Tyler is the only buck hunter I have today. He’s settled in and so am I. I’m 1/2 scouting 1/2 hunting. There’s been a really big one using this corner and if he shows I’ll shoot. Gonna settle in and wait on daylight.
