Wow so cool. We have seen four different cats on camera and a couple while hunting deer. So far only two rattle bugs an no rats. Good job kitty.

Love the kitty's LDP selfies after the kill! Great video. Not sure about the close up shot of the cat halfway through the video though. 2 cams??

I was not sure about that either, seemed like two different angles and one point. Then almost like the camera had a zoom on it later in the video.

That was incredible! Was all that rubbing it's head in the dirt just normal cat behavior or do you think it got bit?

I think the cat got bit but probably not a very hot bite with the snake striking so many times. Could have just got some venom spay in his eyes.

That looked like a youngster cat too. What a great predator.

Incredible! I'm curious as to snakes venom. I thought they carried there venom just behind there heads. When he bit down could he consume the venom? Crazy to watch

The venom glands are right behind the fangs in the roof of the mouth. Doesn't matter if the cat eats the venom, its just proteins that have to be introduced into the blood stream before they work.

Wow that is great. Perfect/Lucky camera placement.

The camera may have been placed there because of the nearby snake den, to film snakes out sunning on the rock.
