The weather could not have been worst for my Turkey hunt this weekend at Dean’s T-4 exotics in Brownwood.
We had several Turkeys gobble back at us but none would come in the first afternoon.
We decided to hunt hogs the evening and not only did I kill a nice eater hog but right before dark had a Tom come strolling down the road.
1 down one to go.
The next morning Dean and I headed out in a drizzle with 20 mile north winds and after our second set in the wind we decided to take a break from the wind and set in one of his rifle stands, just calling out of the window.
I had just about decided to call it off and consider myself lucky to have a hog and a turkey when we had another Tom come strutting out of the brush.
I busted him with the 10 guage and my hunt was over.
Anyone looking for a Turkey Hunt should give Dean a call.
As always he did back flips to make sure I had a great weekend.
He has so bruiser Axis that are close to coming out of velvet also
